Singer and actor Jennifer Lopez always impresses her audience, but her latest performance on American Idol is not something that anyone’s likely to forget soon. Normally she plays the role of a judge on the show, and when she stepped on stage and began to sing, we were all reminded why she’s so qualified to give advice to other hopeful future superstars. Strangely enough, though, her beautiful voice wasn’t even the best part of her performance — I would love to wear a dress like that just once in my life!

When I first saw J. Lo’s dress, I swear my jaw nearly hit the floor. That thing is huge! But quickly, we see that the massive skirt is part of a much bigger plan involving an incredible light show. I’ve seen lots of incredible dresses before, like this one that actually prompted some jerks to bully the girl wearing it, but never have I seen one used as a canvas for such an amazing work of art. But of course, the outfit doesn’t do all the work on its own; Jennifer’s beautiful voice lends itself perfectly to the song, “Feel The Light,” which will be featured in the upcoming Dreamworks movie Home. A talent show hasn’t left me this mesmerized since this fifteen-year-old boy wowed the judges and everyone else who was watching!

Jennifer Lopez’s performance reminded us all why she’s such a superstar…but I think the lights and special effects crew also deserve a raise after their incredible work on such a creative idea. I hope this isn’t the last time we see something like this onstage!

Sarah Pippin is a mere 13 years old. After you watch this video, I’m sure you’ll be wondering how someone whose only been on Earth for such a brief time moves like such an experienced pro.

The dancing pair Duo Osmose has got some incredible moves and choreography — but they’re adults. Even the women of 2010 Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships, while they appear tiny, are adults. I’d like to know how much training goes into a pre-teen’s life for her to be able to move like this. How does greatness like this come to fruition? Is it mostly natural ability? Is it waking up at the crack of dawn before school? We many not have the answers, but I am glad such greatness exists, because watching Sarah’s performance definitely brought me a lot of joy today.

During the 2011 New York City Dance Alliance National Junior Gala, Sarah wowed the judges with her amazing routine, called the “Blackhawk Waltz,” which was choreographed by Travis Hall. With this winning routine, Sarah walked away with the award for “Female Outstanding Dancer” — and I can totally see why.

It’s hard to talk about what makes this routine incredible without totally giving it away, but what happens at 1:48 is so unexpected. Sarah moves so gracefully and precisely that you’d think you were watching regular old ballet, but then it happens and I basically wanted to give Sarah a standing ovation from my computer desk right then and there.

I didn’t even know people’s torsos could move like that!

Belly dancing is a beautiful art that originated in the Middle East and has been practiced around the world for hundreds of years. It requires extreme control and strength in your torso, and becoming truly great at it takes years of hard work. Spanish dancer Sara Guirado has certainly thrown her heart into becoming an amazing performer, and when you see her move, you’ll agree that it was worth it.

We’ve featured similar dancers before, such as this woman who performs her routine with her dog. But belly dancers like Sara are a very rare find indeed. Each movement is performed with incredible precision and finesse. She’s been dancing since she was very young, just like this ridiculously talented little girl, and now she owns her own school in Valencia. Although she makes it look so easy, her art is anything but simple. Pulling off such exact movements requires incredible core strength, and being able to move one half of your torso while the other half remains completely still is nearly impossible if you haven’t been trained to do it. Go ahead and try it if you don’t believe me!

If you ever want to get a great workout while learning a super-sexy dance, check out local belly dance schools near you. It’s becoming more and more popular every year, and academies are popping up everywhere. If you really want to learn from a master, though, you might want to start thinking about booking a trip to Spain.

Even though every wedding is special in its own way, the basics of most weddings are exactly the same. There is usually a ceremony, followed by dinner, speeches, and drinks. Then to begin the dancing, the bride and groom choose a heartfelt song that symbolizes their love and partake in a romantic dance. However, this couple decided that sticking to the norm was no fun, and they wanted to spice things up!

Trent Brookshier and his bride, Annalisa are definitely not a boring couple! As soon as their wedding dance is announced, the pair come out dancing wildly to the classic “Footloose” (although the version they chose was recorded by Blake Shelton). I can’t imagine the surprise all of their guests felt! I would love to watch this happen live at a wedding!

It’s too bad I can only watch this video from my computer and can’t see Trent and Annalisa bust a move in real life! Either way you spin it, though, I have a feeling these two are looking at a happy marriage!

The Judges Were Awed By This Lovely Voice. But When They SAW The Singer? An Incredible Moment!

Reality singing competition shows are often filled with surprising moments. This young contestant, who auditioned for The Voice Kids in the Netherlands with Christina Perri’s 2011 ballad “Jar of Hearts,” was certainly one of them.

The contestant showcased an effortlessness when hitting the notes, making coach Marco Borsato turn his chair around in only a few seconds. To his surprise (and ours), however, the contestant wasn’t standing on stage as expected.

Shortly after, Angela Groothuizen and judging duo Nick & Simon pressed their red buttons and also turned to an empty stage.

Why was this contestant hidden? It all comes together at the 2:30 mark, a moment I really wasn’t expecting.

At that point, the young contestant comes forward and the coaches can’t believe their eyes. The audience members also wildly applauded this budding star.

Watch the video below and please make sure to SHARE if you were just as shocked as I was!

Jeremy Gaynor, the lead male vocalist in the Army’s West Point Band, took a chance and auditioned for The Voice’s eighth season.

Singing The Carpenters’ 1971 hit “Superstar,” Gaynor was able to win over coach Christina Aguilera after just two lines.

Shortly after, Adam Levine and Pharrell pushed their red buttons simultaneously. Country crooner Blake Shelton eventually gave in, too.

“Congratulations on four chairs,” Pharrell told him. “Your voice is amazing.”

Prior to his audition, Gaynor, 30, said he tried to become a professional singer years before, but decided to enlist in the Army when his dreams didn’t pan out.

Although being on The Voice would mean his time with the West Point Band would be over, the father-to-be said he’ll “be able to represent [soldiers] going forward.”

Watch Gaynor’s impeccable audition below to find out which coach he chose.

Irish dance crew Prodijig won season 3 of Got To Dance in the U.K., and after you watch their performance, you’ll agree: They deserved it! During the final round, this dance crew hit the stage for one last mind-blowing number.

The dancers put a modern twist on traditional Irish stepdancing. They hit the stage and danced to Major Lazer’s “Pon De Floor” before launching into the second song, Skrillex’s “Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites.”

Their impeccable rhythm and precise footwork wowed the judges as they stomped through three rounds of competition. But this was the exhilarating performance that sealed their fate as the winners. Of course, these dancers aren’t newcomers to success.

Among the seven dancers — Alan Kenefick, Dane McKiernan, Darren Casey, Craig Mason, Andy O’Reilly, Christina Havlin and Ciara McGillan — are former Riverdance leads. This win has been decades of practice and dedication in the making.

I could watch this performance over and over again. It’s so incredible. I can’t wait to see what’s next for this amazing dance crew. Congrats, Prodijig!

The breathtaking Niagara Falls aren’t the highest falls in the world, but they’re exceptionally wide. And powerful! On average, more than four million cubic feet of water flows from the crest line every minute.

However, due to the extra frosty chill we’re experiencing in the northeastern United States, Niagara Falls has been seeing significantly less water flow.

    Why?

Because some parts of the falls have actually frozen over!

It’s surprisingly quite lovely. The ice-covered falls look fanciful, like jagged, glacier-dripped icicles gorgeous enough to adorn the palace of any ice queen.

And the sense of whimsy these frozen falls emit inspired one adventurer, Will Gadd, to climb them. That’s right, we’ve heard of people going down these falls in barrels, but never someone climbing up them! That’s because no one had ever attempted it before.

Snow-climber Gadd, who is a triple gold medalist at the X Games, felt he was well-suited for the challenge…and he is!

Watch him make history as the first person to climb the falls in the video below, which is quite a sight to see. Just imagine it! It’s like man vs. nature as he climbs up a frozen waterfall while feeling the strength of gushing water from other falls beside him. Imagine how small he must have felt. How cold. And how satisfying it must have been to reach the top.

Please SHARE this beautiful feat with everyone you know to help them realize that with skill and determination you can accomplish almost anything!

Harrison Craig has been the victim of bullying at school for his entire life, all because he stutters when he speaks. Despite his peers’ unmerciful teasing, he tried not to let their words get the best of him and continued to pursue his passion for singing. It’s safe to say, there’s at least one time he has his stutter under control: whenever he’s singing.

When he heard The Voice: Australia was having auditions, Craig decided to try out — and we’re sure glad he did! During the blind audition, this young man truly conquers all with his rendition of “Broken Vow” by Josh Groban. He delivers the performance of his life and completely wows the judges. His voice is flawless as he hits every note.

During the stunning performance, his mom and brother were in the backstage viewing room cheering him on. At 3:55, Craig’s younger brother is seen crying tears of joy as he celebrates his brother’s triumph. It’s such a touching moment. This mom raised two amazing kids.

Karoline and Wojtek seemed like any other bride and groom getting ready for their first dance, but these newlyweds had a little something extra up their sleeves to share with their family and friends! Dancing to Benny Goodman’s song “Sing, Sing, Sing,” this couple decided to show the audience what they had been practicing for the last nine months.

As the bride and groom entered the dance floor, no one expected them to come together for one of the best first dance performances ever. This couple really took their pre-wedding dance lessons to the next level by learning a swing-dance number. After watching these two perform together, you will think these newlyweds have been dancing their whole lives. This kind of video makes me happy to see a young couple like them pick up a new hobby together, and do so well at it, too!

She says, “We were just an ordinary couple with no dancing experience who wanted to give ‘something’ to our guests in appreciation for their presence in this milestone.” Even if this dance was just for the wedding, let’s hope this couple keeps on dancing, because they were just wonderful!

When I was growing up, my family had a nightly tradition of watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! while eating dinner. Even when I go home to visit now, my family will gather and compete to see who can solve the puzzles the fastest or get the highest Jeopardy score.

I’m still waiting for the day I can actually beat my dad, though we’re a pretty even match.

I think if either of us made it onto the show we’d do pretty well for ourselves. If we didn’t win, we’d still solve a puzzle or two, but we’re obviously no match for the contestant in the video below. I think he might be the smartest — or luckiest — contestant in the history of the show. He only needed one letter and suddenly, he’s solved the puzzle!

Host Pat Sajak’s expression changes from disbelief, to concern, to amazement in just a few seconds. Even the other contestants can’t be jealous or upset for too long; they’re just amazed.

What do you think of this incredible guest?

Pepsi Max sure took this car salesman on the ride of his life. The poor guy thought he was taking a regular old customer out for a test drive. Little did he know it was NASCAR racer Jeff Gordon.

It’s actually kind of adorable the way the guy tried to sell Jeff on those “standard power door locks,” and then vroom!

Watching Jeff hit the gas had me wondering: do NASCAR racers pay higher car insurance because they drive crazier? Or do they pay lower car insurance because they know how to drive crazier?

Seriously, though, this guy looked like he was going to jump out of his chinos, and I can’t blame him.

As a born and bred city slicker, I’ve never gotten behind the wheel of any vehicle besides the bumper cars at Coney Island and the virtual wheel in the Need for Speed video games.

I think this guy sums up the experience pretty well: “You’re an idiot and I’m going to kill you! STOP! STOP! STOP! We’re going to die!” — now that is one cruel prank.

He Rolls A Piece Of Paper To Replace This Common Kitchen Utensil. So Cool!!

Even if you don’t spend a lot of time in the kitchen, there always seems to be that one utensil that goes missing. It’s usually a smaller item (it would be hard to lose something as big as, say, a toaster), but you inevitably will not be able to find it when you need it most.

What item is that for me, you ask? The bottle opener. I know, I know. Get one that has a magnet on it. Stick it on the fridge, you say. I have one like that, but for some reason it always ends up missing.

Thankfully, Brian Brushwood has a perfect solution for those times when you’re trying to pop open a bottle of soda, suds, or anything else you might want to quench your thirst, but just can’t seem to find the bottle opener.

The host of National Geographic‘s new life hacking show Hacking the System, Brushwood will show you (in this quick, 30-second video) how you can use an ordinary piece of paper (or even a dollar bill) to open a bottle in the case of an emergency.

In the video, you can follow along as Brian instructs you to take a piece of paper, fold it in half (make sure to line everything up perfectly), and then begin to roll it as tightly as you possibly can. Once you have the paper rolled in a tight tube, just fold it in half.

Next you’ll take the webbing of your hand (between your thumb and index finger) and place it against the back of the bottle cap. Then you’ll stick your paper bottle opener in between your index finger and the bottle as you close your hand over it. Next, pull on the paper, using your index finger as a fulcrum, and the cap should pop right off.

It might not be the easiest way to get the cap off a sealed bottle, but it should work nicely in a pinch. Be sure to watch the video, as seeing Brushwood actually go through the motions to remove the cap will give you a much better sense of how it works.

Please SHARE this awesome life hack with all your friends and family!
